You can get self-confidence from action.

“Self-confidence which we can get from practices is 10-20%. Most of self-confidence can be obtained through real games.”

This is words of Katsuya Nomura, a former professional baseball manager.

In order to gain self-confidence, we should act realistically and gain many successful experiences.

For instance, it is about swimming. Even if you read many books about “How to swim,” you cannot gain self-confidence without swimming actually.
For instance, it is about English. Even if you learn a lot of words and grammar, you cannot say confidently “I can speak English” without making experiences to communicate and speak with foreigners at first hand.
In short, in every field, the important thing is not to learn but to act in order for you to get self-confidence.

It is not limited about self-confidence. Persuasiveness can be gained through action.
You can persuade somebody confidently if you accumulate experiences.

For instance, although I don’t have any experience to live in an uninhabited island, which is more persuasive advice whether words of a person who just read a lot of survival books or words of a person who really experienced to live in such an uninhabited island.

・・・・・・

Apparently, words of the person who really survived are more persuasive.

Seeing is believing.
In every field, in order to get self-confidence, we have to gain experiences actually.
